Frequently asked questions
Which workshop is right for me?
If you don't yet run a production Kubernetes cluster, start with "K3s on Hetzner". If you already use Kubernetes but deployments are painful, you need "GitOps with ArgoCD". If you're solving incidents daily, pick "Kubernetes Debugging".
Open training or in-house — which is better?
Open training is cheaper per person and ideal for 1–2 attendees. In-house is exclusive to your team, tailored to your environment, and cost-effective from 5 people. In-house is also the only option for custom compliance requirements.
How much prior knowledge do I need?
Solid Linux command-line experience and basic container understanding (Docker or Podman) are required. Kubernetes prerequisites only apply to GitOps with ArgoCD.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, all attendees receive a Cheveo participation certificate. This is not an official CNCF certificate (CKA/CKAD), but it prepares you content-wise for the relevant exams.
Can we book the workshop in English?
On request, we run in-house trainings in English. Open trainings are usually held in German.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 30 days before: full refund. 15–30 days: 50%. Under 15 days: no refund, but you may name a substitute or rebook once. Details in our terms and conditions.
Not sure which
workshop fits?
15 minutes is enough. We'll recommend the right workshop for your team — or tell you if none of them is the right fit.
